Bathurst Coach Tour 2021

We all had a fabulous time on our day trip traveling through the Blue Mountains on the Bathurst Coach Tour last month. The double-decker tour bus, which was so kindly provided to us by Fantastic Aussie Tours, was absolutely choc-a-block full as we drove down the beautiful twists and turns of the mountains. We ventured deep into rural Australia where we enjoyed the incredibly diverse scenery which changed from large open plains and farmlands to being on the edge of the mountain or amoung classic suburban vintage homes.

We arrived at our first stop for morning tea, the Hartley Courthouse, a monumental building made of sandstone and rich with history where we enjoyed freshly home-baked muffins and our morning coffee. We continued west driving deeper into the country when we finally reached Bathurst and picked up an expert tour guide who escorted us to multiple historical sites throughout the town.

We finally reached the 50 room Scottish baronial mansion, Abercrombie House, where we enjoyed a transcendent lunch and were allowed a walk-through tour of the home and property which held antiques and vintage items in perpetuity. The trip ended with a riveting race around Mount Panorama where our tour bus made history by breaking records. Our final stop was the National Motor Racing Museum where we leisurely cruised around and enjoyed our final moments before we all boarded the coach for our relaxing drive home.

All our events are held to raise funds and therefore everyone is welcome to attend. The Bathurst Coach Tour was extremely engaging and full of various intriguing activities. Thank you to Greg our driver and Coralie our events coordinator for organising this amazing day trip and to Fantastic Aussie Tours for supplying the coach.
