Career Overview
Judith joined Lendlease in 2002 and has had various roles within the business with a strong focus on economic and social sustainability across the Western Sydney Region on projects such as Jordan Springs, Ropes Crossing and Bingara Gorge. Her current role as a strategic leader within the Social Sustainability Group has built on this experience to provide leadership in the area of Workforce Participation for projects across the Lendlease Group in Australia.

Judith is an active participant in the development and implementation of the Lendlease Reconciliation Action Plan, RAP Elevate, and has driven opportunities for employment and engagement of First Nations people and organisations within the business.

Prior to Lendlease Judith worked for 11 years at University of Western Sydney in various roles in business development and research commercialisation. A highlight of this time was participating in the establishment and management of the Cooperative Programs at UWS Nepean.

While at the University of Western Sydney Judith served a two year term as the elected staff representative on the Board of Trustees; was a regular member of staff selection and job evaluation review panels; provided support as a staff mentor and participated in several university committees and working parties, providing business expertise.

Her early career included early childhood teaching; retail and marketing experience as buyer/ senior buyer with the Myer Group; management of a fashion retail chain and operation of her own successful marketing consultancy for 6 years.

Board and Community Participation
Judith is currently a Non-Executive Director of the Board of NSW Business Chamber and chairs the Board’s HR & Succession Committee; is a member-elected representative on NSW Business Chamber’s State Council; is current Chair of the Chamber’s Business Environment and Economics Committee; and former chair of the Chamber’s Workforce Skills Committee.

In 2018 Judith was nominated by the NSW Minister for Environment and Heritage as a member of the Board of Western Sydney Parklands Trust where she served until April 2020 when the Board was absorbed into the Greater Sydney Parklands.

As a resident of Western Sydney for over nearly 40 years Judith has been active in the region through a number of organisations including Penrith Valley Chamber of Commerce where she was a member of the Executive Committee as Vice President and President; as Vice Chairperson of the Board of Mamre Plains Ltd; and as a Board Member of Penrith Business Alliance, and Chair of its Finance and Risk Committee.

She has also contributed to the broader community through School Councils, P&C Associations, leadership in her church and through fundraising for school and various community groups.
