Strengthening Partnerships with Local Shelters, Hospitals and Corrective Services

As well as seeking support to fund our purpose, we are committed to giving back to others in need throughout our community.

Over the past year, we’ve been fostering deeper connections with local homeless shelters and domestic violence refuges across the Blue Mountains and Nepean-Hawkesbury regions, resulting in the establishment of strong partnerships that allow us to directly address their specific needs.

For Nepean Hospital, we strive to enhance patient wellbeing by regularly delivering bags brimming with books, offering a comforting escape during their stay.

Additionally, we’ve initiated collaborations with corrective housing services, understanding the challenges people face upon reintegration into society. By providing essential clothing, we aim to empower them on their journey towards securing job opportunities and building a brighter future post-incarceration.

Ultimately, it’s all about being a channel of support for those who need it the most, utlising our excess stock to make a positive difference.
