Celebrating our industry awards, recognitions and accreditations

2025 Winner - Lindsay Award for Community Service

This award recognises those who selflessly give their time and energy to make Lindsay a better place - individuals and organisations whose voluntary efforts have made a meaningful difference in our community.

We are humbled to represent our CWS community, to keep cancer care affordable and local, and to help ensure no one has to face cancer alone.

2025 WSABE Winner - Outstanding Community Organisation

The Outstanding Community Organisation Award recognises an organisation that works to improve the social, cultural, or environmental wellbeing of the community.

This award belongs to every single person who makes our community what it is - our incredible volunteers, staff, clients, local businesses, and supporters who give their time, heart, and energy to help us provide affordable cancer support.

2025 Business NSW Finalist - Outstanding Community Organisation

The Outstanding Community Organisation Award recognises an organisation that works to improve the social, cultural, or environmental wellbeing of the community.

On the night, there was a special acknowledgement of the amazing efforts of community organisations across NSW. While we didn't take home the win, we were humbled to be a State Finalist and inspired by the impact created across our state.

2025 WWA Awards Winner - Outstanding Community Contribution

We’re proud to share that Cancer Wellness Support received a Brave Award from Women with Altitude for Outstanding Community Contribution.

This recognition reflects the heart of our work across the Blue Mountains, Penrith and Hawkesbury - powered by our volunteers, therapists, staff, donors and partners.

Charity Reuse Australia - Awarded 2023, 2024, 2025

Within our op shops, a genuine circular economy thrives, as acknowledged via our accreditation through Charitable Reuse Australia under their Clothing Reuse Export Accreditation Scheme.

We are proud to join industry giants like Red Cross, Lifeline and many other larger and well-established organisations who reuse and recycle in circularity.
