Fashion with Purpose: A Feel-Good Night at Our Katoomba Shop and Swap

On Friday, 23 May, Cancer Wellness Support hosted our Winter Shop and Swap event in collaboration with Women with Altitude.

Held at our Katoomba Op Shop with 42 guests in attendance, everyone brought along quality pre-loved pieces from their wardrobes. While enjoying bubbles, nibbles, and plenty of laughs, our team of dedicated volunteers and staff busily sorted items behind the scenes.

Each guest received six tokens to exchange for up to six ‘new-to-you’ pieces. With the help of talented stylist Tori Axisa, attendees tried on and discovered new favourites.

We thank everyone for taking part in our sustainable and feel-good fashion movement.

Every item swapped was a win for the planet and a fresh start for someone’s wardrobe – all while raising vital funds for affordable and accessible cancer care.

By the end of the evening, $1,240 was raised which will fund 35 complementary therapy sessions for local people living with cancer.

Want to join our next Shop and Swap?

Good news – we’re doing it all again to celebrate spring.

Date: Thursday 25 September
Time: 5:30pm to 8:00pm

Bring along your stylish, high-quality business wear, evening wear, and smart casual spring fashion, and swap them for something fresh, fun, and fabulous.
