As 2024 draws to a close, we reflect on the kindness and generosity of our incredible supporters – and the Hawkesbury City Chamber of Commerce has truly gone above and beyond this year.
Whether it’s donating to our Op Shops or championing our Dry July campaign, their support has made a meaningful difference to the Cancer Wellness Support community.
To cap off a fantastic year, the Chamber organised a special fundraising drive at their Annual Christmas Event at the Hawkesbury Race Club. And what a night it was!
The evening was filled with the warmth of community, festive cheer, and fabulous entertainment. Chamber members and guests gathered to enjoy great food, delicious drinks, and live music from the talented Rose Carleo Band. It was a great way to reflect on the year gone by, celebrate our collective achievements, and connect with one another in the spirit of giving.
Thanks to the generosity of those who attended, $1,465 was raised for Cancer Wellness Support! This vital contribution will go directly towards providing affordable cancer care for local people living with cancer and their families.
We’re endlessly grateful for the support of the Hawkesbury community. Time and time again, you show just how big your hearts are. This event was another beautiful reminder of what we can achieve together to provide the care and support that our community deserves.
